We don’t have a massive marketing budget and what we do have we want to use in productive and innovative ways. Our first idea is to propagate a few thousand bee-friendly plants then give them away (or have a pay what you want kind of thing) at farmers’ markets in the area. So first proper morning of holiday from job-job was spent filling compostable coffee cups with soil and throwing in seeds. We’ll have our fingers crossed for propagation over the next few weeks, ready for our first marketing push.

The idea is that people who take a cup can jab a pencil through the bottom a few times, then bury the whole thing in the ground. The cup rots away and the flowers grow, giving bees somewhere to go.

A clear plastic container shot from the top down full of small espresso cups filled with lovely Welsh mud. There are seeds visible in most cups. Seeds that will become amazing flowers.
